If you build a community lot in the Sims 4, you may find that it appears incomplete, you will need to find out which items are missing to make the lot usable. You will see an exclamation mark above any lot that is incomplete when in world view:

To rectify this, visit your lot in build mode and click the ‘Lot Info Panel’ at the top of the screen. In the box that drops down, you will see a list of items required for your particular community lot, and the ones that are missing:

Simply add the missing items and your lot can then be visited as normal by your Sims. 🙂
