I am using a Windows7 lap top & I put my game  (sims2 ) I have ( packs on it and it is really running great, then I went to put, Fashion Stuff, Bon Voyage, Teen Style Stuff, University, & Free Time, Each disk ran thru like it was going to put it on the computer, then at the end I got this message, ” The update process did not complete successfully, Installation will delete the program. Does anyone know how to rectify this? I want to put the rest on my lap top so when I down load   files, everything in the house or just files will function like it should. If any one of you have had this problem and found the solution then please let me know., Will really appreciate it.

It’s difficult to say, but try and follow this tutorial:

Install Sims 2 & Packs On Windows 10

And hopefully your issue should be resolved. I know the tutorial is for Windows 10, but it should work on Windows 7, too.

Please post all support requests in the forums if at all possible
