Something I always tried was to build the smallest house possible, being both fully functional and not look like a wedding cake. I chose a lot size 1×1 (Andy8104) and tried to fill it up in all possible tiles.
This house lot is full with custom contents but all of them are mine. I’m going to post some of the cc separatedly so that I can give more explanation about some of them.
The little house has two floors including two bedrooms where one is pretty small. It is meant for a small family (3 adults or a couple with a child).
All the windows in the house are my new add-on set for the Base Game Window “Double Hung”. I made a norwegian version of that window once no one would use the original here (because of the cold).
One of the windows is broken. Notice that it is not a simple recolor of the glass. It is really broken, so it is not recommended to try to open it – you would get glass all over the place!
