This pandemic is unprecedented in our time. Listen to the government, take care of the vulnerable and yourselves, and stop panic buying! There’s enough food to go around, so just do your normal, weekly shop and leave some for others who can’t make it to the shops before they open, it’s making things far worse than they should be. Mixing with panic-shopping crowds is dangerous at the moment and could speed up the spread of this virus. You are also putting retail staff at risk; these people are risking their lives to make sure the shops are staying open to provide life’s necessities, so think of them, too.
