Sims 2, start doing something on sims 3, but ALWAYS end up going back to 2, still have one outstanding sp to get as well, so wont be done till I get it!

I think it’s the level of detail they put into Sims 2. Sims 3 seems a little rushed like they couldn’t be bothered to take a few extra minutes to make it unique or fun or put in little silly details. Some one the BBS talked about one of the tattoos in Sims 2 having the lime cat on it.

I think you might be right Tremayne, it does seem rather rushed, and what I dont like about it is the amount of community buildings you cant go ‘into’ with your sim but have to stay outside and watch! I find that very impersonal and I like to see what those cheeky sims are getting up to! Plus I’m still not a fan of the features of the sims faces, feel you can make a more realistic sim in sims 2. The only thing that I like better is having the horses, since Im a horse freak! Its the only ep I’ve bothered to get and then I didnt even buy it was given as a gift, come to think of it I didnt even buy sims 3, the hubby did because he though I might like it and then he’s disappointed that I hardly play it! I do also like Sims Medieval and play that more than sims 3, but they stuffed up on not being able to build from scratch and what knight or fair maiden ever got around without a horse!! I really dont know why EA cant just spend a bit more time on getting the details right. Its like all the unfinished furniture sets from IKEA, thank got for people like Huge Lunatic and Leeseter to name just two who completed furniture and windows to give us full sets! Rant over until someone gets me going again 😉

I never played Sims 2, so my answer has to be Sims 3 but I hear it was good 😀

Sims 3, no doubt. Mainly because of all the different building music, and the World Adventures, expansion pack. But I think the new ability to move around the town, and control your Sim at the same time is a great improvement.

I’m really likin’ that our beloved Sims 2 is blowing the other games out of the water!
I’m still a big fan of the game and always will be! 😎April 28, 2013 at 10:06 pm #4299Nonni – RIPParticipantRe: Your favourite Sims games
I thought I could never be tempted to play TS3 but I tried it and I like it. However, The Sims 2 is still my favorite!

Yes, nothing can beat TS2, but building with TS3 is amazing as it’s so versatile.
