No CC Difficult Shape Lot Challenge

NO CUSTOM CONTENT!

Okay Sim Fans,

This challenge is to create a house using the attached shell. The shell is base game, so should be able to be installed with any packs. The only rule is that you MUST stick to the shape of the shell, you can’t change the walls, but everything else is up to you. The house can be in any style, with as many floors as you want, at it can be anything, such as community, apartments, dorms, residential, hotel etc. The roofs can be any style, but you can’t change the size of the lot or add any custom content. You can, however, use any packs you have installed.

The challenge is to create something with a large building and limited landscaping, with no custom content.

The building can be renamed to whatever you want.

Required Images:

Floor plan views of each floor
Front and back views from street level
Pictures of each main room in the house. If you can’t manage to take a screenshot of the bathrooms you can leave them out, but we have some screenshot tutorials that may help:

Note that this is a challenge, it isn’t a competition with prizes, and we won’t be picking an overall winner. Simply reply to this post with your pictures. But I have not a “hand” for building and furniture, so I´m only watching this thread as a guest 😉

Okay, here’s my effort. It’s an upscale hotel with restaurant and entertainment areas, as well as a little shop in the foyer. The hotel consists of:

1 family suite
Deluxe honeymoon suite
2 double rooms
1 single room
1 twin room

For this challenge I created a family holiday village, inspired by my favourite UK holiday destination ‘Center Parcs’. I hope you like it. I haven’t uploaded pics of all of the rooms as the bathrooms are too small and the first and second floor layouts are identical.

Sophie, that’s lovely! You always make your lots interesting and different. Creating something like that with no cc is very difficult, but you were definitely up to the challenge! :s0221:

Really like yours, I think split level stairs really add something – I never think to do that!

It’s amazing how different our lots have turned out!
