My Sims 2 Has Gone Berserk!

I’ve been trying to load up my Sims 2 game, the one with all packs, but for some reason the packs aren’t showing as installed which is messing up the entire game. :dft005:

I searched for ages, but it appears as though EA Games has discontinued support for this particular game, so I had to post a support request in the Sims 3 category…fortunately I received a response.

They’ve told me I need to un-install it all manually (i.e. mess around in the registry editor etc.), then re-install each and every pack again, but in the order they were released! I’ve never had to do this before, but I’ll try it, just to say I’ve tried everything.

They said it could be a problem with Windows 7, but I’ve been using it for ages with no problem with the Sims 2 before. I’ve been on for hours now trying to get it sorted…I think a glass of wine may be in order, purely for medicinal purposes, of course! :chillpill:

Please post all support requests in the forums if at all possible
