July – August Challenge – 2013

Welcome to our July challenge, part 1. This another house design challenge with floorplan that you can find here. This is the challenge:

• Lot must be residential.
• Sims 2 or Sims 3 may be used
• Any expansion and/or stuff packs and custom content can be used.
• Any and all cheats can be used.
• You don’t need to provide the item as a download (in our downloads section only), but you can if you wish, as long as you follow our uploading rules and provide links to the custom content you use.
• Landscaping should be as close as possible to the original plan.
• Required images are front and back views and each room in the house. If you can’t manage to take a screenshot of the bathroom you can leave it out, but we have some screenshot tutorials that may help:

Note that this is a challenge, it isn’t a competition with prizes, and we won’t be picking an overall winner. Simply reply to this post with your pictures. Hows about another challenge? I found this Sim music video on YouTube and wondered if any members were up to the challenge of putting Sims to a music video?

Of course, I am incapable of doing anything simwise, but there are many talented members here and I wondered if any could raise to the challenge? I thought this was cleverly done, see what our members think:

Loved the music video, Coward of the County. Kenny Rodgers and the First Edition came to my college back in 1971!! I’ve never made a sims video, much less a music video, but maybe it’s time to learn something new. That is my advice to all of you.

Because of my severe lack of time, I’ve rushed this a bit to make sure I was able to complete it…hence the fake garage and the slight liberties with the design. However, I did want to do it, and it’s cc free, so I just thought I’d try…
