Well at long last here is my entry to the challenge 🙂
Front of the house
A sweeping path takes you from the road to the front of the house, passing some pretty flower borders on the way.Back of the house
This small, but sweet, little garden has a plenty of trees to shade you from the hot sun, a hammock for those lazy afternoons and something for the children, or just sit out on the patio and admire the view.Top down and floor layout
Tour of the house
Kitchen
As you come in through the front door you are greeted with a superb kitchen, offering ample food preparation surfaces and breakfast bars for those quick meals. All in elegant white with natural wood surfaces. The kitchen comes fully equipped with all the modern appliances you would expect in an elegant home.Dining area
As you pass through the kitchen you arrive in the dining area. Here you are able to move away from the kitchen maybe to entertain or just to sit and eat comfortably at the table.Lounge
Through the arch to the lounge, where you can sit and relax with a book or watch a film on the TV. From here you can enter the garden with its relaxing pation and hammock.Bedrooms
Master Bedroom Suite
At the end of the corridor is a large Master Bedroom Suite comprising of bedroom, with seating area, bathroom and dressing room. This suite offers a haven from the days chores and child care where you can relax and unwind, watch a film together, have a relaxing bath or just chill with your favourite book.(bath is the other end of the room)
Bedroom 1
This bedroom is decorated for a girl, but not in traditional pink but in tones of teal. The colour scheme can be easily changed for a more traditional look.Bedroom 2
The blue bedroom, decorated for a boy, with boys toys. Again this colour scheme can be easily changed to create a different look.Family Bathroom
A small but perfectly formed bathroom, containing all that is required.Utility Room
Somewhere to do the washing. Also leads into the garage.Garage
This large garage allows ample space to park your car whilst allowing you to have a work area too. Handy for fixing those broken toys and for putting together that flat pack furniture, or for just chilling away from the wife. That’s it guys, hope you liked it. Looking forward to reading your comments 🙂

Karen, this is gorgeous! The little fence at the front really sets off the overall look, and I love that you’ve used cc from the site! 🙂 Your roofing is superb, too!

I love how you described it as we looked at the pictures! The details are wonderful and creative while still adhering to the original house. I would give it a fabulous grade if I were grading, which I’m not!

Thanks Tric. Glad you liked my ‘story’ too.
In fact, thank you to all of you for your wonderful comments. I loved all your houses too and as Lady Angel said before it’s amazing the differences we can come up with on the same floor plan and images!
I’ve really enjoyed participating in this challenge, waiting for the next one please.

This challenge was actually a feeler to see if it would receive enough interest to become a regular feature. I’m blown away by all off the participation and I’d like to make it a regular, monthly feature.
Thank you so much to everyone who has participated and commented!
Watch out for another one next month!
(P.S. ekrubynaffit, do you have that gorgeous mural wallpaper you used in the kids room for download? I love it!)

Hey Princess, it looks fantastic in sims3. I really like how the wood floors look with your furnishings. I also like how you placed the desk, out of the way, but still part of the family room.
