Re: Feedback required – Toadstool table and stools
Firstly if it’s at all possible, maybe some dirt patches surrounding the bases of the toadstools. Secondly, maybe slightly thicker stalks on the seats. Other than that they look quite nice 🙂
Oh and maybe like a little bit of grass or weed growing next to the base of the table or something. Just suggestions though.July 28, 2014 at 11:07 am #5007karen lorraineRe: Feedback required – Toadstool table and stools
I agree with all that Cam has said above plus, different colour options. This set would be good for an Alice in Wonderland themed set or for children 😀

Thanks both, for your input. Do these seats look better?
The only problem is that the stools were cloned from dining chairs, so when the Sims pull them out or push them back in, they grab hold of thin air to do so!

Yes but i think the base still needs to be thicker on the stools and the table.

Unfortunately I can’t make the table base any thicker or the Sims legs will disappear into it! lol. I’ve tried it before with my barrel table and it didn’t work. 🙂
I’ve also been asking for feedback at MTS and here’s what they helped me come up with:

Well the tops certainly look a lot more realistic and the stools look better now. I do agree with the table leg looking a bit thin but I can understand why you haven’t changed it. Still hoping you could add some slight dirt patches. Perhaps offer that as an alternative recolour in case some people don’t want the dirt under them. I just think some people might appreciate that seeing the ground cover tool in sims 2 isn’t the best thing to work with.

I think the dirt patches would be a pain to create as part of the mesh, unfortunately, but I do know what you mean. I’m pleased you think they look better – they may be ready for upload now. 🙂

Yes, and since lidiqnata at MTS has said they’re good to go, why not try bypass?

I might, will have to think about it. I’m going to upload them here first, right now 🙂
