CFE Challenge!

So basically this challenge is to test your building skills and creativity using CFE (constrainfloorelevation).
– Challenge closes at end of August

If you are unfamiliar with the cheat this challenge is probably not for you unless you are interested in looking up some tutorials before the end of the month.

Requirements / Restrictions / Guidelines:

• Sims 2 or Sims 3
• You must build on a blank 4*4 lot (this can be any type, eg. community or residential)
• You must completely furnish the lot
• The lot must be 100% playable (eg. no confused sims, unreachable objects unless decorative or plant like)
• Any custom content may be used
• Any mods can be used
• Any cheats can be used
• boolProp constrainfloorelevation false must be used

Required Images:

• Front & Rear images
• Image of each room (exclude smaller rooms)
• Floor Plan of each level. (birds eye view)
• Any additional images which showcase your CFE work 🙂

Please note: Seeing you may have many images for this challenge I suggest using an image host such as photobucket.

ALSO: If you would like to submit your download to this site feel free to do so and include a link in a comment letting everyone know that you have entered the challenge (and they can choose to download your creation if they wish).

Tric would be great at this, she uses that cheat all the time!

I wasn’t sure what amount of time I was allowed to set. Did the rules mention that they were monthly challenges? If they can be longer I would like to set an appropriate time frame simply because this is a time consuming challenge. I had to quickly make that in Sims just before I wanted to set the challenge.

I think I’m going to try this. I have my daughter’s wedding at the weekend, so will get that over with first. However, there will still be plenty of time left. I’ve only ever used this cheat twice before. Once to build a foundation inside a community lot, and once I followed tric’s tutorial to build a pretty feeble modern roof. I know there are some pretty good tutorials on YouTube – may take a look at some of those.

Had a very quiet day today so sat down and tackled this challenge, and then once I started I couldnt stop (shouldn’t mention time flew by on me and nearly didnt pick up my 4 year old from kindy!!!!) Anyway The result of all that dedication and being like the UK Prime Minister and forgetting a child, is a rather large 3 story family home, that you really should be quite fit to live in as it has quite a few stairs!! (apologise for the quality of the pics, somethimes no matter how hard I try they come out looking dull and boring!)

Made using just the Basegame and one peice of custom content which is a two seater sofa to match the maxis 3 seater.
