The raised flower bed is good, I do that sometimes, there is a floor covering that mimics earth, think it’s in miscellaneous.
When I landscape I have the cheats: move objects on and snap objects to grid false on and just plonk randomly. Macarossi at MTS has some lovely decorative plants.
Yes, I use those cheats, too. However, I should have used just pot plants and trees for the raised flower bed, as the normal flowers can’t be maintained there 🙂

Love it!! The sunflowers and white picket fence as so cheery, every young girl sim’s dream. As to flowers ungardenable, they only cost 10 simoleons, so delete and replace is what I say. I also go around deleting weeds. Or I just play the lot until weeds start popping up and shrubs need trimming, and then I’m off to a new one, no perseverance, no sticktoitness!
