It does look better Donna, but I dont think you need the top story at all, with mansion and garden and being able to use the roof angle tool to change individual peices you should be able to get a decent looking roof on just the one story. One possible way you could start is by using the auto roof, see what that gives you, if its decent but too high change the slope, if its hideous (auto roofs usually are), take it off and have another go making the manual one. I think making a decent looking roof is the hardest part of building, and it takes alot of practice and playing round with it to get right. The other idea is do one story, if the roof looks too much add some dormers to break it up. Im also thinking theres a few too many windows going on in your house, maybe take a few out, otherwise your poor old sims are going to be vulnerable to peeping toms lol!!

My opinions: Roof is a little boring. A few too many windows in the bathroom which are facing the balony (I try to place bathrooms at the back of the house or use small windows). On the second story you could perhaps extend the back roof across the spa area or otherwise shelter some other part of the balcony. As tiff said, try playing with the roof slope angle and you could get a really interesting look. Perhaps you could make two smaller sized balconies or 3 instead of one huge block. The best way to avoid a boring roof shape is by starting with an interesting shape (you can keep the square base but possibly make the upper story more interesting with different balcony sizes in different portions. Other than that everything else is awesome. I really love the job you have done on decorating and furnishing 🙂

I agree. I really like the overall style, but the roof and windows could perhaps do with a little work. I think fewer windows, and perhaps some different ones in places, and a more interesting roof and you’ll have a lovely lot!

Please post all support requests in the forums if at all possible

Tiff….TDS…..Angela Thank you for the feedback I know this roof is making me want my sims to live in a TENT!! lol and Tiff peeping Tom?? lmao I guess I went overboard with the windows .. They say Sims like alot of light so give plenty of windows,I suppose you just have to have the right balance 😉 Back to the “drawing board” 😀 Thank’s I appreciate it!
