Every year we take the kids to Hall Hill Farm in Durham. There we feed the lambs, handle the baby chicks and hand-feed the goats and sheep. They also have the most beautiful peacock and we were honoured to see him in all his glory last year for the first time. 🙂

Now the farm has a live lamb-cam, and if you are very lucky, you may even see one being born!

Oh I used to take Jonathan to lambing days and I loved it as much as he did 🙂 Haven’t been for a couple of years cos he’s getting a bit old for that now 😉 Looking forward to taking grandchildren, when I get some.

Karen, you’re never too old, luvvie! lol. With or without kids I’d still be going. 🙂 I love hand-feeding the goats, they’re so cheeky. One tried to get into JJ’s camera bag looking for food last year. Everyone was laughing, it was so funny. They also have a mini petting zoo where you can hold rabbits, guinea pigs etc.

We’re going to try for Flamingo Land again this year, but it’s so expensive…around £100 for a family ticket. 🙁
