Wow, look at that houseboat!! How did you do that?

Built the foundation first (brick one) and then the walls and then added the water. Took me a lot of fiddling to work out the best way. It’s only a barge. Hubbie even helped and he hates my sims!
Tric may have a different way as she’s built a houseboat before, which is why I was keen to ask her how she did it, but anyway I’ve figured it out now.

That looks so effective! Could there be a picture tutorial there somewhere? 🙂

I haven’t built any rooms, you would only get the very basic barge. Haven’t worked out how to do a proper boat with rooms. I’ll have a go at a basic barge if you’d like me to? Tric might be better at building a boat than me though.

Any and all tutorials are welcome. From my little survey earlier, I discovered that a lot of members visit as much for the tutorials as they do for the downloads, which was a nice surprise. 🙂

OK I’ll try but that’ll be a learning curve in itself, never made one of those.

We use the same mod for our tutorials as for our downloads, so you should be fine

Well, with help from himself I’ve updated it. Think it looks so much better now. Feedback is very welcome. 🙂

Oh now that’s much better! It actually reminds me of the tourist boat on the river in Durham, very lifelike!
I think your other half should be building and uploading, too, if he has such a knack for designing! 😉

Thanks, but then I’d have to fight him for my sims! Think I’ll just using him as a Creative Consultant. He does that with my choir stuff too 🙂

He’s still building a desk unit in my daughter’s room for her, if she ever comes home from uni . All she ever does with a room is throw clothes all over it!

Lol, that’s a kid thing. Sophie does that here, but woe betide anyone who puts a thing out of place in her own home!

No, her room in Canterbury is a mess too! She’s consistent I’ll give her that!
