How do I upload Sims items?

To upload an item, click ‘Upload’ from the top menu and select the category to which you want to upload. The upload forms are self-explanatory, but if you have any issues, you can contact me or post a support request in our forums.

You can upload images, but images must be no more than 250 KB in size and be gif, jpg or jpeg. For best results, resize them to around 1000px wide. Images can be optimised here. You can also add one featured image that will be shown in search results.

If you would prefer to link to offsite images and downloads, you can do that, too. Both the files and download links will be hidden from anyone who is not logged into the site. You can also add a mixture of both: uploaded files and images as well as linked files and images.

When it comes to selecting the required expansion packs, you need to select all packs that are required for your item. All walls, floors and ground covers and patterns are base game only.

Posts can be edited or deleted either directly from the post page or from your drafts page, which can be found under the ‘Account’ menu at the top of the page.
