Even Sims get lonely, and sometimes they want more than just a friend. There are ways to fall in love and have your love reciprocated, but you must play it cautious. Advance too quickly and you risk being rejected!
You can’t get to know anyone without meeting them first. This may seem obvious, but if you haven’t greeted anyone, then you won’t be able to get to know them. So be determined to greet anyone and everyone, even the postman and paper-boy!
Take time to get to know the Sim of your choice, talk to them, be hospitable, play games, give them a chance to get to know you.
You will know how you are faring with each Sim you have met by looking at the relationship meter:
The higher the meter for each Sim, the more you have befriended them. A smiley face means you have made a friend, and a little heart means there is a romantic interest.
You can build up a romantic interest by flirting, and if you are friends, by friendly hugs and kisses, that eventually turn romantic. Don’t, though, be too eager to invite someone you have just met just by phoning them, or you may be knocked back with a timely insult! Get to know them a little before inviting them over.
The gentle flirting then turns into tender, romantic kisses and cuddles, that become more passionate! The rest I will leave to your own imagination. :dft001:
Once you have snared the love of your choice, you can ask them to move in, get engaged and even married! Notice the gold bands at the bottom of the image, just below James…this means that he and Tara are married. 🙂
