I didn’t have any full image of the object, so I created a sort of cake building to show what it can be about. There are awnings exactly like the ones available in the full game, it is just that it is Base Game and don’t overload your computer. It is cloned from the Base Game Venus Sculpture and each awning is available in 3 colors. Each awning has also the respective diagonal, that is, you can place it on diagonal doors or windows and they are two separated objects. I could have made it as curtains, but it wouldn’t be seen from the neighbor, something that I simply Require. So, they are sculptures and are reinitialized to work like rugs, that means, sims can walk thru them. Base game I think, don’t have rugs, but these are as said cloned from the Venus, not rugs, so it doesn’t require any. They are not slaved, this means the diagonal will not be automatically recolored and the reason is that slaving every object without a proper reason, is the same as shooting your own feet. Some objects can be used as model for several creations but by slaving them, makes them to a single closed creation with no further use. Many times one wants the slave but not the master, it happened to me several times. Well, the diagonal has to be rotated to fit to the wall once the wall is not required. I suppose it makes it more flexible once it can decorate other non building creations. I meshed it to fit exactly to game walls, both straight and diagonals. It is meant to double doors or windows. Poly count is relatively low and is easy to use. There are 4 different awnings in the package: a wood roof, a metal and glass, a round and a slanted one, all of them with respective independent diagonals. They are located in Decorative/Miscellaneous and the poly counts are: 676 for the wood roof; 560 for the metal and glass; 978 for the round and 780 for the slanted, the same count for the diagonals. They cost 150 each.
