Not enough energy to enter certain areas?

If you’ve been frustrated for hours trying to explore new areas but keeping receiving the message that your Sim hasn’t enough energy, try these few tips:

• Make sure your Sim’s motives are at maximum
• Make sure you have the required skills, such as body skill
• Make yourself an energy drink, from ginger or other energy source, before you try to access the area

The tip below was discovered at another website, but I haven’t done this myself so can’t confirm. This should get you through to Volcano Summit:

• If you have all 9 hieroglyphs you can use the crafting bench to craft an Ancient Stele. Return to Geyser Rock and put the Ancient Stele into the door at which you found the final piece of the hieroglyph. Exploring the now opened doorway leads to the Llama Temple, which has three doorways. One is the doorway leading to Geyser Rock, through which you just entered. The main one leads outside. (Where you can find the Ancient Temple to your right and cocoa and coffee to your left, WOOHOO! The final door which should be directly in front of you when you enter leads out to Volcano Summit.
